HotSchedules® and Future POS Partner to Reduce Restaurant Labor Costs
Integration lowers costs through more accurate scheduling, enforced punctuality and reductions in accidental overtime
AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- HotSchedules®, a leading provider of mobile technology for the restaurant and hospitality industries, and Future POS, an award-winning point-of-sale system for restaurants, today announced that Future POS will offer a HotSchedules integration. The integration will enable restaurants to accurately forecast labor needs, enforce accurate clock-in times and control overtime, all leading to reduced labor costs.
Future POS aims to provide restaurants with the most powerful, robust and user-friendly software on the market. The system features customizable menu layouts, buttons and graphics that can be tailored to the customer's business, whether it's casual, quick serve, or fine dining. Each implementation is flexible and can be set up with specific users in mind, including management, service staff and even customers.
The Future POS integration with HotSchedules enables managers to build their schedule using actual sales data from Future POS. This produces highly accurate schedules, in which staff are not over or under-scheduled, and guests receive an excellent level of service. HotSchedules users that rely on POS forecasts to create their schedules typically reduce labor costs by two to four percent.
The integration will also help to prevent unnecessary overtime, and it will simplify schedule enforcement. Newly posted schedules, as well as any updates that are made, are automatically pushed into Future POS. This ensures that team members can't clock in too early and generate additional labor costs.
"We've been HotSchedules customers for a while now, using their non-integrated version," said John Karabatsos, Vice President of Concept Development at Level 257. "We love it, and are really excited to gain the additional benefits that the integration with Future POS will deliver. "
"We partner with top technology companies to deliver the most robust and complete solution to our customers," said John Giles, President and Co-Owner of Future POS. "We're thrilled to add HotSchedules to our partner list, and we look forward to helping our shared customers capitalize on this integration."
