Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO): In the last three months, company insiders have purchased a total of US$12.66 million in shares, which ranged in price from US$15.66 to US$15.67 each, according to insider trading report. For the third quarter ended September 30, 2012, Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO) announced that revenue excluding traffic acquisition costs was US$1.09 billion, up 2% from US$1.07 billion in the third quarter of 2011. The third quarter GAAP revenue declined 1% to US$1.20 billion from prior-year quarter record. On a non-GAAP basis, the third quarter operating income rose 1% to US$177 million from a year ago. On a GAAP basis, income from operations declined 14% to US$152 million for the latest quarter of 2012, compared to US$177 million in the third quarter last year. For the third quarter, Yahoo! reported non-GAAP net earnings per diluted share of US$0.35, an increase of 66% year-over-year; While, GAAP net earnings per diluted share was US$2.64 in the third quarter, compared with US$0.23 per diluted share a year ago. At the close of the trading day, the stock dipped US$0.07 (or -0.44%) to US$4.42 on hefty volume of 31.82 million shares, above its average volume of 19.75 million shares.
