Hosting: Elevator Exports Increase by 9.23% in 2014 First Quarter

NINGBO, China, April 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- China based elevator manufacturer Hosting held its quarterly sales meeting in Ningbo, China, along with its domestic and overseas sales. The sales director, David Yang, announced at the meeting that elevator exports increased by 9.23 percent in the first quarter of 2014 compared with the same quarter last year.

"Thanks to our continuous concentration on technology innovation and self-owned intellectual property rights, the exports for the first quarter grew by 9.23 percent compared with the same time in 2013, while international sales contributed 70 percent to the total increase with the stable recovery of world's economy, especially in developing countries and areas," David Yang said.

Hosting, a subsidiary of Xingda group that was established in 1972, is based in Ningbo, the 2nd largest city in Zhejiang province and an important port city in China. Hosting now is the 2nd biggest elevator export company among self-owned brands in China. The export volume of elevators and escalators is more than 10,000 units per year.

During the meeting, the management board exchanged views on the factors that supported sales growth. "We will work closely with universities, such as Zhejiang University and Tsinghua University, and also research institutes like the Institute of Building Mechanization of China and the Academy of Building Research. It helps us to keep up-to-date with new technology and improve our performance.
