HORSESHOE BAY, Texas, Sept. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Horseshoe Bay Resort will be the home of PGA and LPGA pros on Saturday, September 27^th as the AAA-four diamond resort hosts the inaugural Shootout at Horseshoe Bay Resort. The two-team exhibition will match current tour professionals in a competitive two-team shamble to be played at the Resort's new Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course Summit Rock. The action will begin at high noon on Saturday immediately following a champagne brunch for paid attendees.

Leading the Shootout field is 2004 British Open Champion Todd Hamilton. Hamilton, who is scheduled to transition to the Champions Tour next year, will be joined by current PGA touring pro Jason Kokrak, a long-drive specialist who's claimed six top ten finishes on tour over the last two years.

On the ladies' side, LPGA pro Ryann O'Toole will join fellow tour pro Kristy McPherson at the Shootout. O'Toole has had several career notables including at top ten finish at the US Women's Open while McPherson has earned more than two million dollars in her pro career. Both players have played on the US Solheim Cup team and both appeared on the Big Break reality television show.
