NEW YORK, April 5, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Hornet, the world's premier gay social network, today announced that Alim Dhanji, a seasoned global executive with over 20 years of experience scaling companies, will join the company's executive team as Chief Operating Officer, reporting to CEO, Christof Wittig. Dhanji will oversee all development and executional functions including engineering, product management, growth, revenue, data, user community and human resources.

Alim has also held senior executive roles with leading companies such as Citigroup, TD Bank Financial Group, KPMG International and Scotiabank Group where he developed deep international experience, supporting high-growth markets. Alim is a board member at Golden Key International Society and chair of their human resources committee and strategic planning committee, COO of the LGBT Token Foundation and an advisor to start-up founders and CEOs.
