Horace Mann Announces Third Quarter Earnings Release and Conference Call

SPRINGFIELD, Ill., Oct. 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Horace Mann Educators Corporation (NYSE: HMN) will release its third quarter 2011 earnings on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 after the market closes.  The earnings press release will be available shortly thereafter within the Investor Relations section of the Company's website at investors.horacemann.com.  Management will host a conference call to discuss the financial results on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. ET.

The call will be simulcast over the Internet.  On-demand replay will be available via the Internet or telephone for those unable to listen to the call live.
