Horace Mann Announces Second Quarter Earnings Release and Conference Call

SPRINGFIELD, Ill., July 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Horace Mann Educators Corporation (NYSE: HMN) will release its second quarter 2010 earnings on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 after the market closes.  The earnings press release will be available shortly thereafter within the Investor Relations section of the Company's website at www.horacemann.com.  Management will host a conference call to discuss the financial results on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. ET.

The call will be simulcast over the Internet.  On-demand replay will be available via the Internet or telephone for those unable to listen to the call live.
