Horace Mann Announces First Quarter Earnings Release and Conference Call

SPRINGFIELD, Ill., April 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Horace Mann Educators Corporation (NYSE: HMN) will release its first quarter 2010 earnings on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 after the market closes.  The earnings press release will be available shortly thereafter within the Investor Relations section of the Company's website at www.horacemann.com.  Management will host a conference call to discuss the financial results on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. ET.

The call will be simulcast over the Internet.  On-demand replay will be available via the Internet or telephone for those unable to listen to the call live.
