According to the Journal of Palliative Medicine, each year in the United States over 500,000 children are coping with life-limiting conditions. With the help of parents and families who purchase an annual subscription for their own child, the HOPELights donation will give these children joy, creative inspiration, as well as hope in their courageous journey.
"Through the HOPELights donation we want to give children and their families support, compassion, encouragement, and inspiration," said Dawn Grosvenor, founder of HOPELight Media. "These families are precious and unfortunately underserved as they struggle with circumstances that are profoundly traumatic."
HOPELights™ magazine, launched earlier this year [see related announcement at: http://www.prlog.org/10945910-hopelights-introduces-new-magazine-for-children-with-special-needs.html] empowers children to learn, grow and succeed despite learning challenges due to autism, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, and other cognitive or sensory related disorders.
HOPELights magazine for kids customizes the front cover with the child's name and is available in three subscription options starting as low as $6.70 an issue.
