Hop-on Recognizes Favorable FDA Regulations and Pinksheets Filing Update
TEMECULA, Calif., May 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Hop-on, Inc. (HPNN.PK) announced today that The Food and Drug Administration is going to regulate electronic cigarettes as tobacco products and won't try to regulate them under stricter rules for drug-delivery devices. The FDA said in a letter to stakeholders last week that it intends to propose rule changes to treat electronic cigarettes the same as traditional cigarettes and other tobacco products.
Hop-on is also in the process of updating its filings on the Pinksheets. This process will take approximately 15 days.
Peter Michaels, CEO of Hop-on, "Since the FDA is going to regulate our products like Big Business Tobacco Companies, we are a US manufacturer and at the end of the day our products will say 'Made in the USA.' This will give us a distinct competitive advantage over foreign distributors."
