LOS ANGELES, Dec. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Lighting up the sky once again to celebrate the New Year, the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) will stage a "pyromusical" which interweaves pyrotechnics with fireworks, special lighting effects and music on the night of December 31, 2015. A series of colorful pyrotechnics will be launched from the iconic Victoria Harbour and rooftops of various high-rise buildings on the waterfront of Hong Kong Island, complemented by fireworks and special lighting. The unique wing-shaped Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) will once again be the focal point for the show.
Playing off the theme of "Love & Joy," more than 160 smiles and heart shapes will be on display representing someone's smile, someone's love or someone's dream. The glittering sunshine and the iridescent colors of the rainbow will light up Victoria Harbour creating a symbol of hope. Complementing the show will be various greetings in different languages displayed on the LED screen on the façade of the HKCEC, adding to the visual impact and creating a joyful atmosphere for visitors from around the world.
To ensure that a global audience can share in the excitement, HKTB will provide a satellite feed of the entire event for use by television broadcasters worldwide.
