Honeywell To Withdraw Chicago Stock Exchange Listing, Retains NYSE Listing
MORRIS TOWNSHIP, N.J., Aug. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Honeywell International Inc. (NYSE: HON) today announced plans to voluntarily withdraw the listing of its common stock from the Chicago Stock Exchange. Honeywell's common stock will continue to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
Honeywell has decided to withdraw its listing from the Chicago Stock Exchange to streamline operations and eliminate duplicative administrative requirements and costs inherent with dual listings. The withdrawal is expected to be effective within the next month.
Honeywell does not believe that withdrawing its listing from the Chicago Stock Exchange will have any impact on the liquidity of its common stock. The Chicago Stock Exchange will continue to trade Honeywell common stock on an unlisted trading privilege basis.
