James established his Law Office in 1957 and has worked as an Attorney ever since. As a result of five decades within the field of law, James has developed extensive experience as both a prosecutor and defense lawyer. His main focus is in the defense of sex crimes, where he continues to follow his personal quest to always demonstrate hard evidence in any case.

In his time away from practicing law, James enjoys coaching boxing and all sports. This is a hobby that is very close to his heart as he attended, and boxed at Murray State during his educational career and taught Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali) while he was training for the Olympics in Louisville.
