IRVINE, Calif., Sept. 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- HomeUnion, an online real estate investment management firm specializing in single-family rental (SFR) properties for the individual investor, announced today that John Dean, chairman and CEO of Central Pacific Bank, has joined the HomeUnion Board of Directors.
Mr. Dean brings more than 20 years of experience of corporate leadership to the HomeUnion Board. Previously, he was chief executive officer of Silicon Valley Bank, which was named by Forbes as one of the "100 Fastest-Growing Companies," during his tenure. He has also served as an advisor to a number of venture capital funds.
He is also chair emeritus of the Entrepreneur's Foundation of Hawaii, chair of the Pacific Asian Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Hawaii and a board member of Aloha United Way and was chair of its 2012-2013 campaign.
