This morning's event is an opportunity for the new chairman of the New York City Council Housing Committee, Jumaane Williams, to meet and discuss the City Council's plans to build affordable housing. We are urging Chairman Williams, who has a long history of being a staunch advocate for high-quality affordable housing, to raise the important concerns and issues that the affordable housing industry faces.
