TAMPA, Fla., Oct. 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- HomeBanc N.A. is committed to enriching the communities it serves through safe and sound lending, community investment, and service activities that help meet their banking needs.
The Bank's employees volunteer at a number of organizations within Hernando, Hillsborough, Lake Manatee, Orange, Osceola, Pasco, Pinellas, Sarasota and Seminole counties. This includes supporting the financial literacy of our elementary and middle school youth in these communities, including Campbell Park Elementary School, and through the Junior Achievement Program at several schools, as well as the Great American Teach In at South Seminole Middle School. In addition, workshops extolling the virtues of the Small Business Administration and economic development are held at small business support organizations, including the Florida Small Business Development Center at the University of Central Florida, SCORE of Manasota and Orlando, Hillsborough County Small Business Development Center, and The Greenhouse of Pinellas County.
