HomeAdvisor will offer Home & Garden Helpouts to assist homeowners with home projects
GOLDEN, Colo., Nov. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- HomeAdvisor, a leading website and mobile app provider offering resources for home maintenance, repair, and improvement projects, announced today that it will launch on Helpouts, a new service from Google that connects users anywhere in the world with experts who can help with a specific topic via a live video chat session.
HomeAdvisor's Helpouts connects homeowners with HomeAdvisor's handymen to provide information and advice on home maintenance, repair, and improvement subjects, including the cost of home projects and do-it-yourself tips. HomeAdvisor handymen can address topics such as:
- Hanging and finishing drywall
- Flooring
- Painting
- Interior finishing work
- Fixture replacement
- Door hanging
During each session, homeowners will receive a personalized, free live video session with a HomeAdvisor handyman. Helpouts by is available on desktop and Android devices.
