HomeAdvisor Announces Downtown Headquarters in River North District
Company to move 300 employees to new development
GOLDEN, Colo., July 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- HomeAdvisor® announced today the location of its new downtown headquarters, located at 3601 Walnut St. in the River North (RINO) district. The company will occupy 58,000 square feet of the building, which is being developed by HUB Development LLC. Around 300 employees will relocate from the existing Golden office to the RINO headquarters in early 2018.
"As the largest digital company in Colorado, we're thrilled to be laying roots in the up-and-coming RINO district," said Chris Terrill, CEO for HomeAdvisor. "Not only does the area embody the enterprising spirit long-celebrated within HomeAdvisor, but it's also undergoing a revitalization that offers an active cultural scene along with convenient public transit and walkability."
The HomeAdvisor headquarters located at Blake, Walnut, Downing and 36th streets will be on the top floors of the office building. The mixed-use site — located across from the A Line train — will boast many amenities, including a private patio on the 8th floor, a shared gym, underground parking, and a multi-function outdoor space with views of the mountains.
"HomeAdvisor has built a significant company and their decision for the new headquarters' location signifies that we have created a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation that attracts world-class companies to stay and grow in the city center," said Tami Door, President and CEO of the Downtown Denver Partnership. "Their commitment to staying here will provide their several hundred employees at this location an ease of access to everything the downtown area has to offer for the new workforce, including mobility options, unique amenities, and a variety of housing options."
The RINO headquarters will be HomeAdvisor's fourth Colorado location, allowing for the company's continued expansion. The Colorado Economic Development Commission has approved HomeAdvisor for Job Growth Incentive Tax Credits of up to $14 million over the next eight years based on employee growth in Colorado. HomeAdvisor currently employs more than 1,200 employees in the state.
HomeAdvisor employs more than 2,000 employees globally and has offices in Golden, Lower Downtown Denver, Colorado Springs, Indianapolis, New York City and Kansas City. Voted among the Denver Post's Top Places to Work for the past four years, HomeAdvisor fosters an energetic atmosphere with a focus on personal and departmental growth, community involvement and a healthy work-life balance.
