Home Chef Named 2017 Hot 100 Internet Retailer

CHICAGO, Dec. 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Home Chef, a Chicago-based meal kit delivery service, today announced it has been named to Internet Retailer's 2017 Hot 100 List of the most innovative e-retailers. 

One reason for the selection is Home Chef has grown its shipment volume by over 150x since the beginning of last year and is now delivering more than 1.5 million meals per month to over 97 percent of the country.

For the past 18 years, the editors of Internet Retailer have annually evaluated and compiled a list of the e-commerce websites that push the boundaries of e-retailing. The magazine's 15 editors and researchers each nominate 20 websites for Hot 100 List consideration. Those 300 nominations are culled down to the final Internet Retailer Hot 100, which highlights brands that have distinguished themselves as market leaders in e-commerce because they are innovative and engaging, and serve their customers exceptionally well.
