Home Chef Continues to Expand Market Share in Growing Meal Kit Industry

CHICAGO, Feb. 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Home Chef, a Chicago-based meal kit delivery service, today announced the expansion of its headquarters into the Wrigley Building, the former headquarters of chewing gum manufacturer Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company. The company's move comes as it has continued to capture an increasing share of the growing meal kit delivery market to become the second largest U.S. based meal kit delivery service. 

Home Chef now delivers nearly 2.5 million meals a month with fresh ingredients and easy recipes from three distribution centers across the country. The company employs over 800 employees across its Chicago-based headquarters and distribution facilities that allow the company to deliver nationwide.

The rapid growth has led to expansion in all areas of the business and the most recent is the headquarters expansion. Home Chef will occupy the 14^th floor of both the North and South Wrigley Towers, which are connected by a sky bridge.
