Holy Land Experience Family Theme Park Gifts Orlando Area With a Second Record-Breaking Charity Day

ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- A record number 3,344 guests enjoyed free admission to Orlando, Florida's Holy Land Experience September 3rd as the premier faith-and-family vacation destination opened its gates for a second time this year as a special gift of appreciation to the community and beyond.

Earlier this year, on January 28th, Holy Land Experience held its annual, announced Charity Day, treating over 3,000 guests to its exquisitely landscaped gardens, award-winning dramas, and unforgettable interactive Bible-based exhibits.

"Such an overwhelming number of individuals and families came to enjoy the park that day that we decided to plan another Holy Land Experience Charity Day," explained park manager Mike Everett. "And by the end of our second Charity Day on September 3rd we had set another incredible attendance record, with a total of 3,344 guests receiving complimentary admission to the park."

And what a day it was, as those thousands of guests were treated to all the sights, sounds, exhibits, and dramatic productions that have made Holy Land Experience a must-see attraction for individuals, families, and groups from around the world.

Despite the overflow crowd, there were few lines throughout the day as guests enjoyed the park's realistic recreations of biblical sites like Golgotha and Jesus' Garden Tomb; experienced the world renowned Scriptorium with its priceless biblical manuscripts; walked through the extensive antiquities collection of the late Dr. Paul F. Crouch, founder of the Trinity Broadcasting Network; and participated in a live re-enactment of the Sermon on the Mount and a Last Supper Communion with Jesus.

Mr. Everett noted that every performance of The Passion, The Four Women Who Loved Jesus, Forgiven, and the other popular productions in the park's 2,000-seat Church of All Nations auditorium were filled to capacity. "The excitement was electric," he said, "as audiences at each performance responded enthusiastically to these life-changing dramas and shows."

Similarly, Holy Land Experience's special Smile of a Child Adventure Land was packed throughout the day as kids enjoyed face painting, dressing up in Bible story costumes, their own special music and fun theater, and other exciting children's attractions.
