Hollywood Finds Its Newest Heartthrob - Actor Braden Paes

LOS ANGELES, March 4, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Hollywood has its newest heartthrob, Braden Paes has now officially signed on to play the lead role of "Jason" in the upcoming film "3 Years," a romantic comedy written by Paes himself, filming this fall.

The story follows a young man as he navigates the world of being an up and coming star while trying to have a normal stable relationship. Producer Elettra Pizzi De Gaetano has signed on to the project and is hoping to make this a Canadian-European co-production. De Gaetano is known for her film "Dante" which screened late last year in Toronto to sold out audiences. 

Paes said, "It's great to have someone as experienced as her [Elettra] at the helm of the project. She is innovative, ruthlessly creative and fearless. I'm thrilled to have her as my boss and collaborator."

Braden is known for playing the role of Beauregard on the hit new TV series "Young, Drunk, Punk" which currently airs on CityTV. Paes is also the recipient of several theatre awards and is the star of "I Agree," which was an official selection at the 2014 Festival Nacional de Cine Estudiantil, in Uruguay. 

"I read the script and immediately knew that this film had to be made. Braden, he's fantastic. Not only is he immensely talented, but he's got the looks and charm to make this movie a hit. Pretty soon we'll be seeing him everywhere," says De Gaetano.  

Braden is now in talks to follow up '3 Years' with the lead role in "Paris Nights," a film which is set to begin principal photography in Paris, France next year.
