Holiday Stationstores to offer fast-fill Compressed Natural Gas station in Lakeville, MN featuring Trillium CNG™

Located just off of Interstate 35 just south of the Twin Cities, the station is open to all vehicles and has easy access in and out for heavy-duty fleet trucks. The dual hose dispenser will allow two semitrailers to fuel at the same time, and features Trillium CNG's proprietary fast-fill hydraulic intensifier compressor.

Zobel also commented that in addition to the environmental impacts, 98 percent of the natural gas used in the United States is produced in North America.  The CNG station in Lakeville is open to the public.

Compared with diesel, natural gas fuel offers a myriad of environmental benefits*, including an approximate 20-25 percent reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, up to a 50 percent reduction in nitrogen oxide emissions, a 70-90 percent reduction in carbon monoxide emissions and 67-94 percent lower particulate-matter emissions. It also offers much more stable pricing than gasoline or diesel.

A grand opening will be held at the Stationstore at 2:00PM on Monday, June 20.  The event will feature speakers from the Clean Cities Coalition, Holiday, Trillium CNG and CenterPoint Energy and will also include a CNG fueling demonstration, equipment tour and open house.
