Hohmann's Booth at Context Art Miami 2018: Celebrating Spectacular New Gallery and New Works
PALM DESERT, Calif., Dec. 3, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- In celebration of a newly acquired headquarters, HOHMANN will be showcasing some of the gems slated for the grand opening exhibition, in Miami. This year HOHMANN will help greet art lovers from the outside as well as inside in their booth C208. In front of the CONTEXT tent you will find Julian Voss-Andreae's massive sculpture "Quantum Meditation" that has just arrived directly from Grand Rapids where it was on display in front of the Grand Rapids Museum during the annual ArtPrize, for which the city is famous for. Inside, the HOHMANN booth will unveil Voss-Andreae's most recent creation or latest sculpture "Elective Affinities," which will no doubt draw crowds of attention alongside David Cerny's new "Red Skull." Cerny's resin wall sculpture, in his signature mind bending medium of three-dimensional objects that fill the entire form, appears to be x-rayed - a must see.
HOHMANN's gallery artists Gerd Lieder, jd hansen, Pascal Pierme, Heiner Meyer and Kimber Berry all have brand new works as well, that were created for the grand opening of HOHMANN's new and spectacular 6500 sq. ft. gallery in Palm Desert.
However, the unequivocal highlight of the HOHMANN booth in Miami this year is a masterpiece of German Expressionism by the most prominent member of the artist group "Die Bruecke," Max Pechstein. Painted in 1910 and worth over 1.5 million dollars, this painting of the daughter of Max Pechstein's landlord will certainly take the breath away of any savvy art collector visiting the fair.
