As part of the company's ongoing commitment to making a difference outside of the office, Hobsons employees routinely give back. Committed to elevating educational opportunities around the world, employees work with education charities, building schools and educational facilities in developing countries. Additionally, Hobsons offices raise funds to improve education within the communities where they work and live.
According to Craig Heldman, Hobsons CEO, "While we usually collaborate with our clients to help students succeed, this week, we rolled up our sleeves and joined forces to help a family look towards the future. Social responsibility plays a significant role in Hobsons culture, at home and abroad, as we regularly come together to make a difference for others. Last summer our team built a school in Africa and this month we constructed a home in New Orleans."
Rick J. Smith, vice president for enrollment management, Northland College lent a helping hand on site this week. "Having witnessed the lingering, devastating impact of the Katrina disaster firsthand two years ago, I was honored to join Hobsons for this project," remarked Rick. "We appreciate Hobsons' role in supporting our enrollment success as well as its commitment to community involvement. Northland College, too, is committed to serving our communities as a part of our unique focus on the environment and sustainability within a traditional liberal arts and sciences curriculum."
