Hlasney Appointed Director of Lockton Health Risk Solutions® in Kansas City
His strengths include development of creative health risk management & claims cost containment strategies
KANSAS CITY, Mo., Nov. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Todd Hlasney has been promoted to Director of Lockton Health Risk Solutions® for Lockton's Kansas City benefits operation. Hlasney joined Lockton in 2013 as a Health Risk Solutions Consultant, partnering with client leaders and Lockton account teams to establish the cultural, financial, and operational framework needed for claims cost management for Lockton's clients.
As Director of Lockton Health Risk Solutions, Hlasney will lead the development and implementation of health risk management and claims cost containment strategies. "Todd is an expert at cultivating creative strategies that address our clients' evolving population health management needs, thereby making their businesses better," said Mark Seely, Senior Vice President and Practice Leader of the Kansas City Benefits Division.
Hlasney will also provide leadership to Lockton's Health Risk Solutions Team as they collaborate to identify and implement best practices. "We've learned a great deal from our wellness strategies and need to apply our findings to overall claims cost management," says Seely. "Todd will lead that charge so that, collectively, we enhance the impact we have with our clients."
Prior to joining Lockton, Hlasney spent 14 years in various executive roles at Corporate Fitness Works, where he developed creative wellness solutions for Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, universities, and residential communities. As President, he established short- and long-term strategic plans based on industry trends, client feedback, employee input, and market demand.
Outside the office, Hlasney has volunteered his professional expertise to several organizations in an effort to improve the wellbeing of the greater Kansas City community. He served as:
- Council member of Bentwood Elementary School, where he helped establish a successful nutrition and physical fitness program that was recognized by the Alliance for a Healthier Generation
- Founding board member of Drown Out Cancer
- Board member of Kansas City Corporate Challenge
He holds Bachelor of Science degrees in kinesiology and in foods and nutrition from Kansas State University.
