HKSTP Wins Most Innovative Technology Hub at The New Economy Awards 2015
HONG KONG, July 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation ("HKSTP") has been given the prestigious accolade of "Most Innovative Technology Hub" by The New Economy magazine for its world-class position in fostering innovation and technology development amongst all places in the Asia-Pacific region.
The award has been given by The New Economy, a UK-based innovation and technology magazine and website with a large international readership. This distinguished honour recognises HKSTP's contribution as a promoter of innovation, fostering and commercialising technology breakthroughs with unique and pioneering approaches.
Through its annual awards, The New Economy recognises the exceptional achievements of companies and individuals in areas such as technology, energy, business and strategy landscapes. Along with the readers of The New Economy, the panel consists of business journalists and top leaders from corporations and academia. It selects the award winners based on a great variety of criteria including R&D, leadership, diversity, strategy, sustainability and an array of desirable qualities.
