BROOKLYN, N.Y., Oct. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- HITN-TV the first Latino non-commercial Spanish-language Media Company in the US, will present the 38th Annual Public Policy Conference and Awards Gala of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI). The gala, which is the largest Latino gala in the country, will again welcome President Barack Obama as the special guest.
CHCI's Annual Awards Gala is the signature event in its Hispanic Heritage Month list of events that include the Public Policy Conference. The evening's festivities include musical entertainment, remarks by figures of national prominence, and recognition of CHCI's highest honors—the CHCI Medallion of Excellence. These awards celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of Latino leaders who keep the promise to their communities through their extraordinary efforts.
CHCI 2015 Public Policy Conference coverage begins Tuesday, October 6th. HITN will air re-caps of the event during primetime programming: October 6th starting at 8pm, October 7th starting at 8pm, October 8th starting at 8pm. To conclude the coverage of the event HITN-TV will air a 1 hour Special of CHCI Public Conference on Sunday, Oct. 11 from 8pm to 9pm ET with a repeat at 11 pm ET.
