Hispanic Scholarship Fund Announces Inductees for 13th Annual Alumni Hall of Fame Gala
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 1, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF), the nation's largest not-for-profit supporting Hispanic American higher education, announced today its 2014 inductees for the Alumni Hall of Fame Gala. The event, set to take place on October 8, 2014, at Cipriani Wall Street in New York, gives special recognition to an extraordinary group of individuals who demonstrate – through their achievements, leadership, and excellence – how a college education can transform the lives of students, their families, and their communities.
The 2014 Alumni Hall of Fame inductees include Corporate Partner of the Year, Wells Fargo; Honorary Inductee, Frank Ros, Board of Directors, Hispanic Scholarship Fund, and Vice President, Hispanic Strategies, The Coca-Cola Company; HSF Alumni Inductees Juan Sepúlveda, Senior Vice President, Station Services, PBS, and Dr. Vasti Torres, Dean and Professor, University of South Florida.
Author and television journalist, Carmen Rita Wong, will emcee the Gala. Ms. Wong is recognized for having been host of CNBC's On the Money, correspondent for The Today Show, and a four-time national advice columnist.
