The USHCC Foundation Chamber Training Institute was created to help provide unique educational opportunities that would foster the growth and development of Hispanic business leaders and entrepreneurs. Participants in the Austin Chamber Training Institute include USHCC corporate member representatives, board members and 40 chamber leaders representing 21 chambers from across the country.
"Wells Fargo is pleased to support the Chamber Training Institute for the third consecutive year," said Denise Miles, Wells Fargo National Partnership Manager. The training program features workshops such as "Effective Business Communication" and "The Real World Way of Creating an Effective Yet Simple Business Plan." The program also includes a special session, presented by Wells Fargo, on applying for a small business loan. Participants who complete the program will receive a certificate in Business Writing and Plan Development Program from the University of Notre Dame Mendoza School of Business.
"As we face an increasingly global economy, effective communication in business becomes more vital than ever," says USHCC President & CEO Javier Palomarez, "and so we are happy to offer the participants at the Chamber Training Institute in Austin an intensive and valuable introduction to those critical communication and writing skills. We also would like to recognize our partners, without whom, this program would not be possible – thank you Wells Fargo and the University of Notre Dame for your support."
