Hisense to Recruit in Silicon Valley and Other Cities across North America for Over 100 High End Positions
QINGDAO, China, July 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Hisense has again kicked off a large scale recruitment roadshow across North America on July 17. Toronto, Canada will be the roads how's first stop, followed by five cities: Waterloo, Ottawa, Montreal in Canada as well as Boston and Silicon Valley in the United States. Hisense will hold talent recruiting and symposia in these five locations, offering more than 100 high end positions in communications, IT, multimedia, smart information systems, refrigeration, heating and ventilation as well as medical electronics,among other sectors. Ranging from high-tech research and development to product design, the company plans to offer jobs at all levels from marketing to top and middle management positions in many locations around the world. Hisense Group president Yu Shumin will personally act as the "chief recruitment officer" during the stops in Boston and in Silicon Valley.

Hisense began its first large-scale recruitment drive in 2011. Besides filling the talent gap via overseas recruitment, through the acquisition of entire tech teams and by attracting the top IT leaders to their organization, the company also offers innovative remuneration packages to attract and retain talent through equity incentives. As of the end of last year, Hisense had acquired the teams from Canadian Jamdeo, American Archcom optical chip's R&D and manufacturing team and Huaya TV chip's development team.
