His Majesty King Hamad of Bahrain Orders Ramadan Allowances for Needy Families

MANAMA, Bahrain, July 31, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- In commemoration of the Holy Month of Ramadan, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa ordered a royal Ramadan allowance for all needy families registered with the Royal Charity Organization (RCO) and the Social Development Ministry.

His Majesty designated the RCO to manage the distribution of payments of the Royal donation in close coordination with the Social Development Ministry in the ongoing effort under his patronage to assist all needy families in Bahrain during the Holy Month.

RCO Board of Trustees Chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa extended his thanks and gratitude to His Majesty the King, who serves as the RCO's Honorary President, for the royal donation which underlines the keenness of his concern for the welfare of all Bahraini citizens.

His Majesty the King also directed the RCO to provide care for the families and children of Bahrainis who died in the line of duty to commemorate their enormous sacrifice for the Kingdom.
