Hiru Corporation (HIRU) Renews MindUp Patents and Plans to Bring This Research to the Commercial Level
BELGRADE, SERBIA, Jan. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Hiru Corporation (HIRU; www.hirucorporation.com) plans to assist its newly acquired MindUp Bioresearch to renew company's patent and market their lung and melanoma cancer treatment on the international biotech market.
In its plan to establish a solid position in the international biotech market, Hiru Corporation assists MindUp Bioresearch to renew its International and US patent. Originally acquired in 1997 (International) and 1999 (USA), the patent involves the company's development of non-resistant lung and melanoma cancer treatment through the control of the gene expression on the cancer cells' cellular surface. Treatment has the ability to reduce cellular mutation in lung cancer by more than 50%.
MindUp Bioresearch intends to capitalize on its discoveries through Hiru Corporation and the patent renewal represents the first step in this direction. The patent renewal will secure HIRU's advantage in the further research and development of this lung and melanoma cancer treatment approach, as well as the exclusive right to market this approach internationally.
Dr. Sabera Ruzdijic, the project and team manager of the MindUp Bioresearch said, "The Hiru management sees a great potential in our cancer research for the company as a whole and shows a great interest in our advances. They offered MindUp Bioresearch extended support in all our activities, starting with this patent renewal. We have not established a clear marketing plan for this treatment approach yet, but we intend to bring our research success to the commercial level soon."
