Hiram Marrero Named as Lockton's New Executive Vice President of Operations

MIRAMAR, Fla., Sept. 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Insurance industry veteran Hiram Marrero joined Lockton Companies today as Executive Vice President of Operations. Lockton is the world's largest privately held, independent insurance broker.

In his new role, Marrero will have broad operational responsibilities for Lockton as well as leading strategic recruiting, growing new markets, building-out existing offices, and developing strategic leadership within the firm.

Marrero is currently in a national leadership role with Willis Towers Watson and has served in additional leadership roles with its predecessor firms since 2004. During that time, he has been involved in sales, sales leadership, and operational management as well as national practice leadership.

Marrero received a Bachelor of Science degree in International Finance from St. Thomas University. He is involved in several community organizations including the Miami Jewish Health Systems Board, the Miami International Symphony Orchestra Board, and the Young Hispanic Leaders Association.
