CARF establishes standards of quality to determine how well an organization is serving its consumers, and how it can improve and keep pace with changing conditions, and current consumer needs. CARF is a voluntary accreditation.
The Hiram G. Andrews Center maintains a comprehensive program of services featuring the integration of education on campus at the Commonwealth Technical Institute (CTI), a postsecondary school that offers six associate degree programs and nine diploma programs, as well as counseling, vocational evaluation and physical restoration in a barrier-free environment. HGAC has been serving individuals since 1959 on its 45-acre campus in suburban Johnstown.
