SAN DIEGO, Dec. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Hippo Premium Packaging (hippopackaging.com), a leader in customized packaging and branding solutions for the legal cannabis industry, announced that together with Duallok it is a finalist in the 2019 PAC Global Leadership Awards. This prestigious world-wide event identifies and awards the best in packaging innovation, design, and branding.

The Hippo/Duallok package is one of only six finalists in the "Packaging Innovation/Technical Innovation" category.

The company developed the package for its client, Theory Wellness, using the new Duallok certified child resistant enclosure. Burgopak is the inventor and structural designer of the patented system, and Hippo is a premier distributor of the Duallok line. The unique double-lock design, certified under the 16 CFR 1700 guidelines for child resistance, keeps children safe and brands compliant.

Hippo's innovative customization and creative use of the Duallok container was recognized by the Packaging Consortium (PAC) as one of the best packaging designs in the world.
