BEND, Ore., Sept. 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Curtis Young, Producer, CEO and President of Forever Young Entertainment and son of hip-hop legend Dr. Dre, will bring his Music and Medicine Dispensary Tour to Oregrown's flagship dispensary in downtown Bend this Friday, September 23 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The event is the only Central Oregon stop on Young's tour.
Young will sign autographs, showcase selections from his exclusive Chronic Glass line, and interview patients who find relief in medicinal cannabis. Young plans to incorporate the patient testimonials into a music festival that will inform fans about medicinal marijuana.
"We have to preserve and protect access to cannabis as medicine," Young says. "Even as recreational cannabis takes center stage in states like Oregon and California, we want to continue to raise awareness about the incredible difference medicinal cannabis makes in people's lives every day."
Oregrown co-founder Aviv Hadar says his company shares Young's vision.
"Many people say they care about patients, but Curtis Young is walking the walk by taking the message of medicinal cannabis to music fans everywhere," Hadar says. "Oregrown is committed to developing and providing the highest quality medicinal cannabis products, so we could not be happier to host Curtis and his tour."
Oregrown is Oregon's premier farm-to-table cannabis company, garnering back-to-back awards for Central Oregon's Best Dispensary at its flagship store at 1199 NW Wall Street in Bend, OR.
