Hilton Orlando is Dressing Up for Halloween
Hilton Orlando's Halloween Package Offers Daily Treats to Guests Who Book Stays from Oct. 29 - 31, 2010
ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- There is nothing haunted about The Hilton Orlando this Halloween as the hotel recently announced a treat-filled weekend from Oct. 29-31. In conjunction with its "Hilton Orlando's Halloween" package, there will be sweet treats galore all weekend, with the sweetest of them being room rates starting at just $99 per night for the weekend.
In addition to the spooky low rates, the hotel will provide complimentary shuttles on Oct. 30 -31 to and from the area's two most popular Halloween attractions; Universal Studio's "Halloween Horror Nights" and Sea World's "Spooktacular." Shuttles are complimentary for hotel guest and will depart to and from Universal every hour between 5 pm and 2 am and for Sea World once an hour between 8 am and 10 am with daily return times once an hour between 4 pm and 6 pm.
For those opting to stay on the friendly confines of the Hilton Orlando, the weekend will be filled with Halloween themed activities. Upon arrival, children will receive a "Trick-or-Treat" bag and map that leads to various locations within the hotel where candy awaits them. Additionally, there will be a collection of carved pumpkins onsite and guests will have the opportunity to vote for the best one. Children who are inspired by the carved pumpkins will then be able to create their own masterpieces at the daily pumpkin decorating classes offered poolside on Saturday and Sunday at 2 pm.
Of course, no Halloween would be complete without costumes and ghost stories. All hotel guests are encouraged to participate in the Hilton Orlando Costume Contest on Oct. 31 at 3 pm located onsite at Tropics. The winning costume will receive a two-night stay, private poolside cabana rental and dinner at David's Club. Guests are also invited to scour the hotel immediately after the contest and trick-or-treat for candy at designated locations. To add to the festivities, nightly ghost stories and complimentary s'mores will be available Friday through Sunday at the fire pit from 8 pm to 9:30 pm.
"With so many local attractions going all out this time of the year, Orlando has become known as the place to be for Halloween," said Hilton Orlando general manager, Doug Gehret. "The Hilton Orlando is happy to make a Central Florida visit affordable with our Halloween package. With all of the Halloween themed specials at the hotel, guests are in store for some serious treats."
With a variety of prime eateries at the hotel, the weekend will also feature daily food and beverage specials. These include:
- $1 spooky cupcakes at the Marketplace
- Free children's dessert Saturday and Sunday at David's Club Bar & Grill
