Hillsdale College Ranked In Top 10 Colleges for Merit Scholarships
U.S. News names Hillsdale 9th nationally for high number of scholarship awards
HILLSDALE, Mich., March 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. News & World Report recently ranked Hillsdale College ninth in the country with regards to undergraduate institutions that award the highest rates of merit scholarships.

According to U.S. News data, 45.6 percent of Hillsdale College's full-time student body receive some form of merit-based scholarship. As defined by U.S. News, merit scholarships are "aid packages based upon a student's unique abilities, academic or extracurricular, rather than financial need." The 10 institutions ranked as top merit scholarship providers offer merit-based aid at significantly higher rates than average among the nation's 1,111 reporting schools.
