Hillel Launches Nationwide Search for New C-Suite Positions
WASHINGTON, Dec. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- In support of Hillel International's Strategic Implementation Plan, "The Drive to Excellence," the campus organization has launched a nationwide search for two newly created positions – Chief Talent Officer (CTO) and Chief Campus Officer (CCO). Both Washington-based positions will work closely with Hillel's Chief Development Officer and report directly to President and CEO Eric Fingerhut.
"These two positions will help Hillel build a far stronger global operation so we can engage Jewish students on as many campuses and in as many communities as possible," said Fingerhut. "I will count on these creative and energetic individuals to be critical leaders in our growth as an organization and a movement."
The CTO will primarily focus on addressing the need for excellence in recruiting and developing talent. By identifying what resources are required and building out new programs, the CTO will help Hillel remain the employer of choice for graduates of Jewish professional programs and seminaries. Hillel employs more than 700 full-time field professionals. The CTO search is being directed by David Edell at DRG Executive Search.
The CCO will be the most senior campus and community professional at Hillel International. The first priority of the CCO will be serving as Hillel International's primary liaison to local Hillel leadership and developing a deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges for each affiliate. By developing strategies that help Hillel act as a positive force for excellence on each campus and in each community, the CCO will be instrumental in ensuring that students are afforded every opportunity to have a world-class Jewish experience on campus. The CCO search is being directed by Hillel International Vice President Rob Goldberg.
