Hill Physicians Medical Group Receives 2016 Excellence in Healthcare Award

SAN RAMON, Calif., Sept. 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Hill Physicians Medical Group was recently named a 2016 Excellence in Healthcare Award winner from the Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA) for the Sacramento region.

A key component of IHA's statewide Value Based Pay for Performance (VBP4P) program, the Excellence in Healthcare Award recognizes physician organizations that perform in the top 50 percent in all three major VBP4P areas: clinical quality, patient experience and total cost of care.

Of the 200-plus physician organizations statewide participating in the Value Based P4P program, only 34 attained the Excellence in Healthcare Award performance standards for 2016, based on VBP4P results for measurement year 2015.
