Hill, Hamm, Volker, Petrie and McClendon to Be Keynote Speakers for Hart Energy's 2011 DUO™ Conference in Denver
HOUSTON, May 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Five energy industry leaders – Greg Hill, executive VP and president, worldwide E&P for Hess Corporation, Harold Hamm, chairman and CEO for Continental Resources, Jim Volker, chairman and CEO of Whiting Petroleum, Tom Petrie, vice chairman for Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and Aubrey McClendon, chairman and CEO of Chesapeake Energy -- will be keynote speakers at Hart Energy's 2nd annual Developing Unconventional Oil (DUO™) conference and exhibition, May 23-25, at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado.
This year's DUO conference provides an update on the booming Bakken and Three Forks shale plays in North Dakota, the emerging Niobrara shale oil play, and the liquids-rich Eagle Ford shale play in South Texas, as well as other liquids-prone unconventional targets in California and beyond.
Messrs. Hill, Hamm, Volker and McClendon each appear on the first day of the conference. Mr. Petrie opens the program on the conference's second day. The Honorable Jack Dalrymple, governor of North Dakota, will deliver the keynote luncheon remarks. Of two dozen confirmed speakers, more than half are senior executives with oil and gas operating companies active in oily shale plays.
