Hill & Knowlton Appoints Daniel McIntyre as Worldwide Head of Healthcare
NEW YORK, May 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Hill & Knowlton today announced the appointment of Daniel McIntyre as worldwide head of healthcare. Based in New York, he is a member of the firm's Global Council and reports to Paul Taaffe, chairman and global CEO.
In his new capacity, McIntyre will drive the firm's growth strategy in healthcare, integrating its assets to address the complex communications needs of client organizations active throughout the sector. Drawing on Hill & Knowlton's expertise in life sciences, technology, marketing and its strong heritage in corporate and public affairs, McIntyre will continue to expand H&K's role across the healthcare ecosystem.
McIntyre joins Hill & Knowlton from integrated marketing communications consultancy Global Prairie where he was a partner. His experience includes product marketing, corporate reputation, issues management, international public affairs and public policy. He has more than 30 years of working in the industry for companies including Fleishman Hillard, Wyeth, MeadWestvaco, Pharmacia, Bayer, American Home Products and Hoffmann LaRoche.
