HighTower Promotes Three C-Suite Leaders

CHICAGO, Sept. 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- HighTower announces promotions of three executives on the company's management team to support the firm's continued growth and maturation:

Chris Curtis to Chief Financial Officer
Michael Parker to Chief Development Officer
Larry Koehler to Chief Administrative Officer and Vice Chairman

Chris Curtis joined HighTower in March as Executive Vice President, Finance & Accounting. He now serves as CFO, reporting directly to Mr. Weissbluth. Mr. Curtis previously worked for Envestnet, where he managed preparation for and execution of that firm's 2010 initial public offering and subsequent capital raising events.

Michael Parker, HighTower's first Chief Development Officer, reports directly to Mr. Weissbluth. Mr. Parker will continue to lead HighTower's activities around the recruitment and growth of advisor teams. He also assumes added responsibilities for marketing, public relations and brand-building. The architect of HighTower's proprietary "Blueprint for Growth" study and benchmarking assessment, Mr. Parker will guide the firm's growth as it expands its platform offering to wirehouse firms, independent firms as well as established RIA practices. Larry Koehler, HighTower's previous CFO and founding executive since the company's inception, assumes the newly created role of Chief Administrative Officer and Vice Chairman. He will continue to be responsible for HighTower's legal, compliance, human resources, facilities and M&A activities.
