HighTower Expands Baltimore Team With Two Retirement Industry Veterans

CHICAGO, Oct. 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- HighTower (http://www.hightoweradvisors.com) announces that Charlie Vieth and Steve Zients bring over 50 years of combined experience in the retirement plan business to Fiduciary Plan Advisors at HighTower (HTFPA). The Baltimore-based HighTower Network team delivers differentiated solutions to corporate plan sponsors to better manage their retirement plans.

Mr. Vieth and Mr. Zients are joining Fiduciary Plan Advisors at HighTower as Managing Directors. Both men are well-known leaders in the retirement plan industry and held senior leadership roles at T. Rowe Price. Mr. Vieth served as President and Director of T. Rowe Price Retirement Plan Services for 15 years, and Mr. Zients served for 23 years as Senior Vice President and Director of the company's Retirement Plan Services, managing the Client Services department. During their tenures at T. Rowe Price, the two helped to grow the company's retirement plan business to over $100 billion in assets under administration. Immediately prior to joining HTFPA, Mr. Vieth and Mr. Zients co-founded Act2, a retirement consulting practice based in Baltimore.
