Highpower Announces Shipment of Portable Power Stations to Fry's Electronics; Available in Stores in September 2016
SAN FRANCISCO and SHENZHEN, China, July 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Highpower International, Inc. (NASDAQ: HPJ), a developer, manufacturer, and marketer of lithium and nickel-metal hydride (Ni-MH) rechargeable batteries, and a battery management systems and battery recycling provider, today announced that it has shipped its 1000Wh portable power station products (PPS) to Fry's Electronics, and the products are expected to be available at select stores in the U.S. in September 2016.
The PPS has 1000Wh electricity capacity with an estimated 1000 lifetime charging cycles. The PPS is solar panel compatible, which offers portable power and convenience for outdoor usage and emergency power backup. The PPS provides power solutions to variety of electronic devices, and can supply continuous power to:
- an LED lamp for over 300 hours;
- a smart phone for 200 hours;
- a notebook for 40 hours; and
- a mini refrigerator for 20 hours.
