Highlights for Children, Inc. Debuts New Version of its Best-Selling Geography Puzzle Book Club
Which Way USA adds new characters, online games and a competitive race element
COLUMBUS, Ohio, March 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Highlights for Children announced today that it has launched a new edition of Which Way USA, its popular monthly puzzle club that delivers a state-by-state adventure through the United States for children ages 6 and older. Each shipment of Which Way USA engages children in hours of entertainment and fun, while also providing education on important people, attractions, historical facts and cultural landmarks in every state.
The new version of Which Way USA builds upon the success of the original puzzle club with interactive games, puzzles and maps, but creates an even more engaging experience by introducing two relatable characters, Tripp and Scout, who accompany players throughout their journey. Players must complete a variety of challenges and compete against teams of wacky characters to acquire the most points as they travel from state to state. In addition, kids can engage in complementary games and activities on the club's website, WhichWayUSA.com.
"Which Way USA has been one of our most popular puzzle clubs since it launched more than a decade ago," said Mary Alice Moore, editorial director of continuities at Highlights. "The latest edition takes the experience to the next level with a continuing adventure that builds each month as kids travel virtually from one state to the next."
Each Which Way USA packet comes with two 32-page state puzzle books and map sets, along with a collectible license plate key tag with a code that unlocks the exclusive games and activities found on the website. Additionally, subscribers receive an official game guide and key tag ring with their first shipment.
"Parents and grandparents love the fact that kids learn so much about U.S. geography as they read, write and solve their way through the madcap Which Way USA race," said Moore. "We have also received great feedback about the combination of off-line and online activities, which appeals to the way children play and learn today."
