Highland Capital Partners Announces Promotion of Andy Hunt to Partner

In a move that strengthens the investment effort in New York, Andy will continue to focus on sourcing and leading new investments in consumer technology and ecommerce as he works with the exceptional entrepreneurs building the next generation of innovative and market leading companies.

In addition to his role at Highland, Andy is a co-Founder and Director at Warby Parker Eyewear, which has fundamentally altered the $100 billion prescription eyewear industry. Andy joined Highland in 2011, where he has focused on consumer internet opportunities in New York. Among others he is currently involved in the firm's investments in Harry's, Oyster and OpenSky. Prior to founding Warby Parker, Andy worked in healthcare IT venture capital at SV Life Sciences and as an investment banker at Cain Brothers in New York. Andy earned his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and is a graduate of Brown University.
