Data analytics to supplement benefit management
NEW YORK, Feb. 12, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- High Line Health (High Line), a healthcare data analytics company, today announced it has entered into a contract with Local 338 Health & Welfare Fund, a benefit trust fund serving the membership of the labor union Local 338 RWDSU/UFCW (Local 338) to enhance its health benefits reporting.
High Line specializes in integrating complex healthcare data into a single source of truth for labor health funds and other large self-funded employers, payers and providers. The company's platform allows administrators to monitor financial, utilization and quality trends and subsequently, identify actionable areas for improvement. This is done through analytical tools, such as customizable online dashboards.
Local 338 provides healthcare coverage for approximately 7,000 members who reside primarily in New York and New Jersey. High Line will integrate Local 338's medical and pharmacy claims into a dedicated, secure data platform that will greatly improve its reporting capabilities.
"We'll now be able to identify trends and patterns to improve management of benefit costs and ultimately, better serve our members," said Charles Hamilton, funds administrator for Local 338. "These trends will enable us to pinpoint members, such as someone in need of complex care, and help them receive the services they need."
High Line's data expertise and visualization tools drive better healthcare insights and support cost containment for customers. This combination makes High Line a valuable partner in managing healthcare costs.
"By leveraging data, our customers gain greater visibility to cost drivers and are able to make changes accordingly, said Bernadette Kelleher, president, High Line Health. "We look forward to partnering with Local 338 to find new ways to manage their benefit costs."
