High Fashion Meets High Tech: Andy The-Anh Appointed Designer for Lole
MONTREAL, Jan. 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Coalision, the Canadian lifestyle clothing company has appointed Designer Andy The-Anh as head designer for its Lole women's lifestyle brand. Based in Montreal, The-Anh will work directly with Vice President of Product Evelyn Tremp.
Known for his sexy cocktail dresses and gowns, tailored silhouettes and great fabrics, The-Anh's resume includes stints at Raffinati, Irving Samuel and Parasuco before launching his own labels: POW (Power Of Women) in 2002 and the critically acclaimed Andy The-Anh collection in 2006. The line, sold in department and specialty stores in the US and Canada, was featured at Neiman Marcus and in three freestanding Andy The-Anh boutiques in Montreal and Toronto.
"At our first meeting with Andy we immediately appreciated the man, his creativity and the fit with Lole," said Bernard Mariette, president and President and CEO of Coalision. "I am delighted he is joining our team. His experience and fashion point of view, his openness combined with the strengths of Evelyn Trempe and designer Stephanie Noel, will lead Lole to its next exciting evolution."
As part of the Lole design team, Andy The-Anh will be responsible for the development of the versatile products that have contributed to the brand's success. Born from Coalision's heritage of leading-edge active performance apparel design, Lole strikes the perfect balance between fashion, function, performance, comfort, fit and wearability.
Incorporating fabric technologies preferred by the world's greatest outdoor enthusiasts that are carefully crafted into fashion-forward, yet, clean silhouettes to meet the demand of a woman's active lifestyle, Lole delivers unsurpassed levels of quality and four-season versatility.
"Andy is highly respected in the fashion world. I'm looking forward to working with him and the team on the design of our upcoming collections," said Evelyn Trempe.
"Lole is an acronym of Live Out Loud Everyday – a philosophy I not only live by but infuse into my designs," said Andy The-Anh. "After closing my company, I promised myself I would join a company with great ambition and potential. Lole and the vision of Bernard and his team immediately attracted me. My first collection for Fall 2012 will be modern, feminine and allow women the freedom to be actively fashionable."
